Recently I applied for the opportunity to test out some popular SK-II skincare items. I was lucky enough to be chosen for the voxbox from Influenster, which included a trial size of the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and one Facial Treatment mask.
I mentioned a few weeks back how I started incorporating Boscia’s Beauty Oil into my skincare routine. I have been very pleased with the results, however as far as anti-aging benefits go, it’s very hard to tell if something is making a difference or not. To me, if you take care of your skin, a lot of these products are basically the same (in my opinion.) It’s more about finding what works for you rather than going out and buying the most expensive skincare you can find, thinking it will perform miracles.
This week I want to give a shout out to a product I can’t believe I’ve lived so long without. The Boscia Beauty Oil has been my dry skins saving grace this winter. Ok so I know that this isn’t exactly pink, but the packaging is pink and the bottle is red which is close enough!
I’ve been meaning to post this for weeks now, but I keep discovering more and more about this product. As you may have seen Tarte released a new Double Duty Beauty line with lipsticks, eye shadows, foundations and more. I mentioned in my Sneak Peek post I recently decided to try out the new Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation since it was recommended for dry skin types. Want to know if this is worth it or totally hyped up? Keep reading to find out more about my experience! Or skip to the bottom (it’s a wordy post)… I included a video review!
If you are anything like me, this time of year wreaks havoc upon my (somewhat aging) hands. Not only is the weather very drying, but washing your hands multiple times a day zaps the moisture right out. I always have a hard time finding a hand lotion I really like, for many reasons… First off, smell. If it smells horrendous I simply can’t deal. Second, consistency. If its too watery I feel like it does nothing. Lastly, the aftermath. If it leaves my hands sticky or sweaty-ish, it’s a big no go from me. Let me also say that I mostly use lotions on the backs of my hands. Weird, maybe. But if you’re on your phone or computer a lot it certainly bypasses the “greasy” fingerprint issues.
With that said, here are some of my current favorites in the hand cream department.
